CAUTION. TOTALLY CAUTION. When I hear "fanning," I think of caution. That and a dude I know named Scott Fanning. But otherwise, the fanning is the best part of a good caution.

Sugaree featured some fine fannage as well. Those are the only versions I ever listen to, the real long ones that build and build, I can't stand the song in it's 5 minute form.

That's how I feel about those early, 5-6 minute PITBs. Too short! Although the one on "Skullfuck" rules, mostly due to Mr. Merl...

I'm with you on the short PITB's.
I just can't listen to any pre-'72, you know the ones where they stretch out less than the studio version from Ace.
I'd much rather go with tomorrow's '74 TDIH.It's like 3 days long! (ok, more like 46 min.)
I think the addition of Keith was the spark that the song needed to take flight.

i always prefer to be fed luscious grapes while experiencing fanning - very relaxing
